Recently, President Korniakov Mikhailand, Vice President Bykov Stepan of Irkutsk National Research Technology University in Russia visited UPC. Party Secretary Wang Yong and Vice President Cao Yingchang met with the guests. The two sides discussed the exchange and cooperation issues and signed an interuniversity cooperation agreement.

During the symposium, the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on mutual visits of teachers, student exchanges led by state-sponsored programs, joint application of intergovernmental cooperative scientific research projects, and platform activities of China-Russia Engineering University Alliance.

After the symposium, Korniakov Mikhail visited the precision measurement and intelligent sensing technology laboratory and the history museum of the university.
