International Students of UPC Told Their Feelings for China by Letters Home

On April 3, the theme activity “A Letter Home” was hosted by the Publicity Department of Qingdao Municipal Committee and the Qingdao Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. Ten international students of UPC from different countries participated in the activity and wrote their own feelings for China and stories of studying abroad in 10 languages. The international students fully showed the active spiritual outlook of UPC, built a bridge of communication between Qingdao and international platforms, and helped enhance the international influence of Qingdao.

During the activity, the international students of UPC shared their letters at the launch ceremony, and showed their thoughts about studying and living in China. They said they love Qingdao because it embodies the characters of classical art, as well as the charm of contemporary culture. They have been deeply impressed by the life in China, and have gained a lot from studying and living in UPC. As a bridge of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, they will learn Chinese further, promote friendship and cooperation between China and foreign countries, and facilitate exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations.
