Recently, the Finals of National 3D Digital Innovation Design Competition Elite League (2020-2021)was successfully held. Teams from UPC won one first prize and two second prizes, and the university also abtained Outstanding Organization Award.

Since its launching in Sept. 2020, a total of 389 colleges and universities and 680 departments have registered for the competition, and almost 5500 preliminary entries have been submitted. Divided into undergraduate group and graduate group, the competition was comprised of preliminary competition, school competition, online audition, etc.. In all, 300 teams entered the final round, and produced 1 special prize, 45 first prizes, 105 second prizes, 149 third prizes, and 20 excellent organization awards.

The National 3D Competition is guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Industry. It has been officially included in the National University Discipline Evaluation System from this year. The National 3D Competition Elite League and the National 3D Competition Annual Competition are two parallel events organized by the National 3D Competition Organizing Committee.
