On Nov. 19, Clarivate Analytics, the global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics to enable researchers to accelerate discovery, announced the list of global highly cited researchers of 2019, with 6216 researchers from nearly 60 countries named. Prof. Zhou Peng and Prof. Jiang Daqing were on the list, with the former in the economics and business field (primary institution) and the latter in the mathematics field (secondary affiliation). Moreover, Prof. Zhou Peng is the only one in the economics and business field among the named researchers of Chinese Mainland.
Prof. Zhou Peng, the dean of School of Economics and Management, the winner of The National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. He mainly focuses his research on energy economy and policies, environmental economy and management, low carbon operation management. He has presided over 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and published more than 70 papers on top journals, such as JEEM、The Energy Journal, Energy Economics, Ecological Economics, Energy Policy, EJOR. The citation on Google Scholar added up to more than 10,000 times.
Prof. Jiang Daqing is from the Applied Mathematic Department of College of Science. His main research area is mathematical biology models and infectious disease models with stochasticity expressed by stochastic differential equations. He won the mathematics prize of Qin Yuanxun in 2010, and the second prize of Natural Science Award by Ministry of Education in 2015. 250 SCI papers have been published.
