On Nov. 13, Ronald K. Machtley, President of Bryant University visited China University of Petroleum. President Hao Fang welcomed the guests and had a discussion with them.
Hao Fang extended a warm welcome to the guests. He introduced the general information about the university, including its historical evolution, its features and advantages under the current situation. As he said, UPC has been always attaching great importance to the international cooperation and communication. On the basis of the MOU, he hoped more programs will be carried out and more collaboration should be practiced in the preponderant disciplines of the two sides.
Showing his thanks for the welcome, Ronald K. Machtley expressed appreciation to the discipline distribution and the achievement in the brain-gaining work of UPC. He said, China University of Petroleum is one of the important partners for Bryant University on its road to internationalization. More academic exchange should be conducted and joint programs on interdisciplinary education should be explored, such as technological business operations, technological transfer and logistics.
During the visit, Memorandum of Understanding was signed, covering joint education programs, faculty exchange and cultural communication.
