Recently, Shandong Provincial People's Government Office announced the reappointment list of the scholars of Taishan distinguished specially-invited experts. Totally 18 Taishan scholars of specially-invited experts with management period expiration are selected and Professor Zhang Jun ,from Chemistry Engineering College in our university ranks among them.

　　Taishan Scholars Project is an important measure for Shandong Provincial Committee and provincial government to implement the strategy of strong-talented province and enhance the ability of independent innovation aiming at introducing and cultivating innovative scientific and technological talents engaged in basic research, original innovation and common technology research. Since its implementation in 2003, remarkable improvements have been achieved and a wide range of effects has been produced at home and abroad.
