In the past few days, the signing ceremony on co-constructing Joint Laboratory forInternational Cooperation in Petroleum Energy between The University of Texas at Austin and our university is held.
According to the agreement, two universities will focus on advancing mechanism innovation on scientific research cooperation, talent training and student exchange, mutual visit of professors and scholars, technology consultation and promotion, cooperation in international academic conferences and other aspects, carry out practical cooperation so as to deepen the reform of education, expand education open, enhance both schools’ innovation ability and international academic reputation on exploration and development of petroleum and natural gas as well as speed up the construction world first class subjects. Joint Laboratory for International Cooperation in Petroleum Energy will mutually complement creative platforms with “111Talent Introduction Plan” carried out by our university, State Key Laboratory and The Ministry of Education Key Laboratory.
