Recently, Professor Hou Jian, from School of Petroleum Engineering and Professor Wu Mingbo, from College of Chemistry Engineering, are selected as Leading Talents of scientific innovation of national “10000 people plan”. Professor Guan Zhichuan, from School of Petroleum Engineering is selected as Famous Teacher of the same national talent project.

　　National “10000 people plan”is a high-level talent support plan covering a wide range of fields, involving many departments with long implementation cycle. It provides special support for outstanding talents, leading talents and talented young people in the field of natural science, engineering and philosophy and Social Sciences in China aiming at speeding up training and bringing up a batch of high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents to provide strong support for the construction of an innovative country.
