Introduction:

Menachem Elimelech，a distinguished professor at the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering in Yale University and a member of American Academy of Engineering, has been engaged in application of separation membrane in the sustainable development of water and energy. He has authored more than 300 refereed journal publications, including invited review articles in Science and Nature. His H index and IF is up to 120, therefore he was appraised as Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher in 2014.
