Introduction:

Pol Hoorelbeke is the Vice Président Safety Management of Total. He has taken his career in safety management since 1987 and has rich experience in the field of HSE in the oil industry and . He received doctore degree in Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the doctoral paper Numerical and Experimental Study of Vapour Cloud Explosions – Mitigation by Inhibitors was awarded the prize from EPSC(European Process Safety Centre) in 2012.
