On June 20th, 2020 Graduation Ceremony of China University of Petroleum was held in Yifu Building. Due to COVID-19 epidemic， only 238 students and teachers attended the ceremony. Other graduates watched the ceremony online. The live broadcasting, equipped with 5G+VR,  was presented in public on Tencent and Sina Weibo,  attracting more than six hundred thousand audience in all.

This year, the graduates numbered 6571, with 4652 undergradates, 1821 graduate students and 98 international students. Up to June 16th, the employment rate has risen up to 91.15%. 39.11% graduates will continue their study in universities and institutes and 41.29% got employed by the world top 500 enterprises.
