On Sept. 11, 2019 Opening Ceremony was held to show heartfelt welcome to 2019 freshmen who would kick off a new life in China University of Petroleum.  University leaders, teachers attended the ceremony.

   President Hao Fang delivered the speech On The road to Excellence, Pursuing for Perfection. He hoped the new students would learn and inherit the spirit of patriotism, diligence and pragmatism, and to be persistent, innovative and proactive.

   Prof. Zhou Peng, on behalf of the faculty, encouraged the freshmen to study harder and strive to fulfill their dreams in the college life. 

Students representatives gave speeches and shared their excitement for the coming new life. 

The symphony concert was performed as a gift to the new students. 

The freshmen shared their joy after the ceremony.
