Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China released the result of 2019 project evaluation. 103 pojects submitted by China University of Petroleum were on the list with the total funds up to 55.39 million.

Among the pojects, there are 3 key projects, 2 outstanding young science foundation project, 57 general projects and 49 young science foundation projects and 3 cooperation projects. They were mainly distributed in School of Geosicence(24), School of Petroleum Engineering(26), College of Chemical Engineering(10), College of Pipeline and Civil Engineering(11) and College of New Energy(9). Besides, Prof. Huang Jianping and Prof. Wang Min successfully obtained project funding by the Outstanding Young Science Fund.
