To celebrate the coming new year, China University of Petroleum held 2017 New Year's Concert which was staged on December 21. It was offered by Shenghua Symphony Orchestra and conducted by prof. Xu Xuemin, the national first-grade conducter. University leaders, alumnus, students and faculties watched the performance.

    On the concert, classic works were performed, including Slavonic Dances, Chinese Folk Songs Jasmine Flower,  Violin Concert in E minor， 21 Hungarian Dances WoO 1， D major Cello Concerto No. 2 No. 3, Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major,  La gazza ladra Overture.  Mixed with fantastic melody and festivous joy, the show expressed the best wishes for a new year, making a wonderful and unforgetable night.
