Recently, 2017 Model APEC (Asia-Pacific Youth Model APEC Conference) has concluded in City Yangzhou. Sun Qiming, the undergraduate student from College of Pipeline and Civil Engineering, China University of Petroleum, won the final championship of national final and on behalf on Chinese youth, was invited to participate the activities to be held in 2017 Vietnam Da Nang APEC Summit. 

    In the national final, the partcipants should give their ideas around the two topics, 'innovative start-ups: a new age for opportunities' and 'women&the economy: divers of the change'. They simulted the APEC CEO Summit , playing the role of state leaders and entrepreneurs and gave responses the questions from the host . The global vison, speaking ability and reaction capability would be tested and examined. At last, three students, sunqiong from china university, chengkangdi from beijing normal university and lu weiyuan from Tsinghua University got the champion. 

    2017 MODEL APEC has attracted more than ten thousand college students. Through the activites, students can learn more about APEC and give their own ideas on hot topics of globalization and innovation.
