On Oct. 10, Chinese Bridge: Chinese proficiency competition for foreigners across the globe was successfully held. MOHAMMED ABDULLAH THABET AL-SHAWISH from China University of Petroleum won the silver award of individul part. GAEL BENGONO OYONO and  SHEHERYAR KHAN won the participation award. 

Three foreign students from UPC attended the competitiom.

AL-SHAWISH recited Chinese poetry.

     The competition was launched by Confucius Insititute Headquaters(Hanban)and CCTV. This year, themed with 'learning Chinese, Understanding China'， it offered a platform for foreign students in China to get more understanding about China and its cultures. The competition examined their profiency in Chinese using and cultural understanding in various ways.  The three students from UPC has been well prepared for the competiton. They learned Chinese songs, poetry reciting, waist drum, Kungfu. AL-SHAWISH performed China poetry Cong Jun Xing and won the silver award for his excellent acquisition of Chinese and art show.
