The overseas students' graduation and degree ceremony of 2017 held in UPC on January 8 in 2018. The academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. HAO Fang, Principal of UPC, granted diplomas to overseas students and took a group photo with them to mark the occasion.  
　　95 graduates from 31 countries obtained their diplomas, including 1 doctor, 6 masters and 88 graduates. The school expressed congratulations to their graduations and offered best wishes to their bigger gain from work, study and daily life in the future, hoping that one day they can server as envoys of friendship and bridges for exchange and cooperation with the world.
　　In 2017,the international education work of UPC actively developed the connection between “Belt & Road” and Double First-rate construction. There are 1302 overseas students and 579 of them came from nations along the “Belt & Road”area.187 overseas students obtained bachelor's degrees and 30 for master and doctor degrees at spring and autumn season in 2017. They all found employment in relative countries and companies. Elected as the vice-chairman of CAFSA and vice-chairman unit of “Belt & Road” University-Enterprise Alliance for Talented Development, UPC had completed the first education period of overseas undergraduates “4-year nonstop Chinese practice” training plan. More than 270 students attended national HSK examination and achieved good results, which helped overseas students in English-teaching majors to reach a better Chinese language-applying ability.
