During the summer vocation, UPC held cultural exchanges with oversea universities, such as the Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi, Gachon University, Hanyang University, Da-Yeh University inTaiwan and Perm State Technical University. Students and faculties were sent to abroad to experience diverse cultures and learn foreign language.

Cultural Communication between Mainland and Taiwan

Summer Camp in Perm State Technical University

       In Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi, students and teachers of UPC and The Petroleum Institute in Abu Dhabi held the seminar of “International Management and Intercultural Communication” together, as well as having academic talks. The Gachon University’s summer camp included Korean language learning, enterprise visiting, traditional culture experience, etc. every students received 40 hours' language learning which was taught by experienced Korean teachers. The special thing of Hanyang University’s program  was that students were required to select one or two major related or cultural lessons, and after a month, they could acquire certificates and credits which can be confirmed by UPC. Students who participated in the summer camp in Perm State Technical University mainly had activities like Russian learning, visiting and cultural communication.

       In recent years, UPC has put emphasis on international communication. The university has build cooperative relationships with nearly 90 universities in more than 10 countries and regions such as  America, Canada, Australia, Britain, France, Russia, Korean, Mideast, etc.. Students and young teachers have different oppprtunities to go abroad, such as the summer school, degree study, internship practice and international conference.
