From 5-6 July, UPC held the workshop on international cooperation and education in 2014. Leaders and experts from Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and universities around the country attended the workshop. They gave reports on the issue of international education and exchange ideas on international cooperation between Chinese and oversea universities.

 　　The workshop consists of two parts, that is, international cooperation and international education. The former focused on issues about strategies of internationalization of higher education, international situations of higher education and cases study of university internationalization.

　　As Yang Xiaochun from  International Division of MOE stated in his report “the top-level design of higher education internationalization”, universities should give full and decisive play of the top-level design to the internationalization of higher education. Chen Huabei from  State Bureau of Foreign Experts Affairs，said universities at home should put emphasis on the informatization on administration, teaching and research to facilitate the internationalization of higher education.

      Scholars from Tsinghua University, Shandong University, Ocean University of China and China University of Petroleum(Beijing), Beijing Institute of Technology, gave reports on different themes around the issue of internation education, such as, problems of English Coures and Chinese-teaching for international students,  approches for attracting oversea students to China.

       Two international students from College of International Education shared their experiences in UPC and gave some advices for international education of UPC.
