Collaboration with Memorial University of Newfoundland Deepened

Recently, Faisal Khan, the professor from School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Memorial University of Newfoundland, came to visit UPC and held talks with vice president Zha Ming about the further cooperation. The two sides looked back on the cooperation that are already carried out. Vice president Zha hoped that more exchanges for faculties and research cooperation can be conducted in the future.  Faisal Khan also showed his wishes for more communication between the two universities.

Since 2013, 12 undergraduates of UPC has gone abroad to  Memorial University of Newfoundland. Seven students will go to the university for graduation design and research internship in the next year. The two sides will launch joint education programms for students in petroleum engineering, oil-gas storage and transportation engineering, safety engineering and offshore oil engineering.
