From June 8 to 10, the third 'China Exploration - Sports & Culture Competition for Oversea Students in China'-the finals of the Southeast Division was hosted in Jiangsu University. The team of China University of Petroleum won the second place and was successfully promoted to the national finals.

     The 11 team members came from SCO member countries like Russia, Kazakhstan and China and countries of 'One Belt and One Road' like Rwanda, Ghana and Sudan. In the basketball competition, the team won the 1st place in the group round, after defeating Yangzhou University, South China University of Technology, Hubei University of Technology, and Anhui Medical University, then defeated China Three Gorges University and Zhejiang Normal University in the elimination round, and finally entered the finals to compete with Jiangsu University and won the Second Prize in the end.

  ‘China Exploration’, launched by the Ministry of Education, is a cultural activity for oversea students in China. It has displayed the passion and vitality of oversea students in China who can get deeper understanding  of China and its culture.
