On Dec. 24, 2019 New Year Party and Scholarship Awarding Ceremony was held. About 500 international students from 40 countries attended the ceremony. The performance was put on by Chinese and international students together. They gave colorful shows, such as Yue opera, multilingual chorus, witty skit, model show,  expressing their love for the university and China. On the awarding ceremony, more than 100 international students were awarded for their excellence in study and practical work.
