Student Voluntees offered assistance for information inquiry, English and Russian translation and media service. 

SUN Yan (Right), faculty of College of Arts, has participated in the  preparation of the summit and been responsible for conference business. 

ZHU Shan (Right), faculty of College of Arts, recieved the interview of CGTN. 

REN Zengqiang(Right), faculty of College of Arts, recieved the interview of CGTN. 

REN Gengtian from College of International Education accompanied Kravchenko, the chairman of SCO Youth Council, to visit the exhibition hall of the beer museum.  

Meryuert Junus Bekova,the oversea student of UPC, also took on volunteering work for the summit.

Inna, the foreign teacher and Pirmukhamedov Faromuz, the oversea student,  participated in CCTV live broadcast during the summit.

     The 18th SCO Summit, hosted in Qingdao from June 9 to 10, has become the most spectacular event in these days. To give the best assistance and service to the guests, 2000 student volunteers have been recruited from universities in Qingdao. 35 students from China University of Petroleum participated the volunteering work for the summit, offering various services, such as assistance for guests' arrival and departure, information inquiry, English and Russian translation and media requests.

     Before the summit, students have recieved lots of training including etiquette, language practice and meeting information. They should be ready and qualified to give the precise information to the guests. Besides, being professional and passionate, they should maintain a good posture and greet people with a smile all day long. The volunteers have regarded it as a great honor to be part of such an important event. Hard although it is,  it would be rewarding when they meet peole from different countries and communicate with them, which would largely broaden their eyes.
