1. 6000 Times Smiles of President Shan

　

From 26-28, June, 2014, on the commencement ceremony, President Shan Honghong awarded degrees for over 6000 students and gave them best wishes with smile.

2. Earth Hour

On 29, March, 2014, students took part in Earth Hour campaign to  advocate energy saving.

3. The Flea Market during the Graduation Season

Every summer, in the graduation season, graduates will sell their books, stationeries and living items to younger grades and donated earnings to non-profit organizations in campus.

4. Volunteer Teaching in Ludian Earthquake

On 3rd, August, 2014, volunteer teachers from UPC held fast to their posts and  offered lessons for pupils during the Ludian eartuquake.

5. The Life Story Exhibition of Academician Zhu Yajie during the 100th Anniversary of His Birth

On 4, Dec. 2014, at the 100th anniversary of academician Zhu Yajie's birth, the unviersity offered the life story exhibition to honor him for his contribution to the development of UPC.

6. The Second Innovation and Entrepreneuring Project Exhibition Held

In Oct. 2014, the second innovation and entrepreneuring project exhibition kicked off. Students displayed their self-made products and exchanged ideas on innovation.

7. Time to say goodbye

On 1st, July, 2014, graudates are leaving the university and saying goodbye to their best friends.

8. 24 Hours of UPC

A collection of pictures taken by a group of students in UPC presents vividly different settings of how studnents and staff spend their day in the campus.

9.  UPC became one of representatives of the new-established West Coast District.

On 9, June, 2014, the proposal of the construction of Qingdao West Coast Distrit was approved by the State Coucil. UPC beame one of its representatives for its beatitufl campus and  high quality.

10. Migrant Workers took lessons in UPC

In March, 2014, UPC offered lessons on Consumer Protection Act, Labor Contract Law and children's education for 40 migrant workers, which made them know more about their rights and duties.
