Prof. Anne Neville Invited to be Visiting Professor

     On Sept. 17, Prof. Anne Neville from University of Leeds took visit to China University of Petroleum. She was invited to be the visiting professor of the university. Wang Yong, the deputy secretary of party Committee, welcomed the guest and held discussions with her about bilateral cooperation. 



    Wang Yong introduced the features and advantages of the university and hoped that the two universities would make more cooperations on student programs and academic work. Anne Neville was higly impressed by the beautiful campus and well-built labs. She expressed her willing for future communication and welcomed more students to study in University of Leeds.  

     Anne Neville is the chair professor of institute of functional surfaces, University of Leeds. In 2010, she was elected as the member of the Royal Academy of Engineering and in 2017 the fellow of Royal Society. She has focused her research on corrosion science and material engineerng and published more than 470 papers on ResearchGate and 298 on Web of Science.
